1. Who we are
We protect your data and respect your rights.
This privacy statement is issued by Myreas BV, Tramstraat 63, 9052 Zwijnaarde, Belgium, company number 0733.909.522 (hereafter 'Myreas' or 'we'). Myreas is part of Colruyt Group. Myreas is the controller for the personal data described in this statement.
It explains which personal data we collect through www.myreas.com and when you contact us, why we do so, how long we keep it and which rights you have.
2. Which personal data do we collect?
Data you give us
- The "Book your inspiration session" form: your first name, last name and e-mail address, and, if you fill them in, your country code and phone number. We also record the page from which you sent the form.
- E-mail, phone or a meeting: the data you share with us yourself, such as your name, your organisation, your contact details and the content of your question.
Data about your visit
- Technical data: when you open a page, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser and device type, the time of your visit and the page you requested. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse.
- Cookies: only with your consent do we use analytics and marketing cookies. See section 7.
3. Why do we use your data, and on which legal basis?

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
4. Who has access to your personal data?
Within Myreas, only the people who need your data to handle your question have access to it. Colruyt Group's IT and data protection departments support us and may have access for that purpose.
We use the following service providers. They process data only on our instructions or, for cookies, under their own privacy policy:
- Microsoft (Azure and Microsoft 365): hosting of the website, sending the contact form by e-mail, and our mailbox. Data are stored in data centres in the European Union.
- Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics): only after you accept analytics cookies.
- LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag): only after you accept marketing cookies.
- Vimeo: the videos on our career pages are only loaded from Vimeo when you choose to play them.
Certain authorities and government departments have the legal right to request some of your personal data. We comply with such requests where the law requires it.
5. Where is your personal data stored?
Form data, e-mails and website data are stored in the European Union. Google and LinkedIn may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. For those transfers they rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
6. How long do we keep your personal data?
- Your question or request: we delete it six months after our last contact at the latest, or earlier if it is no longer relevant. If it leads to a collaboration, we keep the data we need for that collaboration for as long as it lasts and as long as the law requires afterwards.
- Technical data: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

7. Cookies
A cookie is a small file that your browser stores and sends back on a later visit. When you first visit the website we ask which cookies you accept. Until you choose, and when you refuse, we place only the necessary cookie that stores your choice. Google Tag Manager, which loads the analytics and marketing tools, is only loaded after you accept analytics or marketing cookies, and only the tools of the categories you accepted run.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with , a link that is also in the footer of every page. A new choice takes full effect from the next page you open. Cookies that were already placed can also be deleted in your browser settings. We ask your choice again after 180 days.

8. How do we keep your personal data secure?
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for those who need it, and the security standards of Colruyt Group. We require the same level of protection from our service providers. No system is completely without risk, but we do everything reasonable to prevent loss and misuse.
9. What are your rights?
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- have the processing of your data restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to direct marketing at any time;
- receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format (data portability);
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@myreas.com. If we are not sure who is making the request, we may ask you for proof of your identity. We never ask for more than we need for that. We answer within one month.
